Practice Weather Safety and Preparedness During Monsoon Season
SANTA FE, NM – July 16, 2021 – The Santa Fe National Forest (SFNF) has been receiving moderate to heavy rainfall across the forest with more predicted in the forecast. Along with this welcome precipitation, New Mexico’s monsoon season also brings weather concerns for flash flooding and lightning. We can’t control the weather, but we can do our best to prepare for what it may bring. Be proactive when it comes to being outdoors this time of year by visiting Monsoon Safety tips.

Bandelier Announces Public Programs for Summer 2021
Bandelier National Monument is such a treasure. Just an hour's drive from Santa Fe transports you into another world. It's suitable for all levels of exercise. The main loop is paved and has very little elevation gain, but if you want a workout, climb all the ladders. The Alcove is 140 feet of climb. Hikes from 1-6 miles are right here in the canyon. Villages Receives Grant from the Community Health Funder Alliance
Villages is a recipient of a grant awarded in the category of Senior Health, by the Community Health Funder Alliance, which consists of Anchorum, Christus St. Vincent, and the Santa Fe Community Foundation. The grant extends our community outreach of our online exercise, mental health, and technical programs to senior centers. The pilot program, in development at Los Alamos and White Rock Senior Centers, is funded by Los Alamos National Laboratory and Triad National Security,

The LANL grant allows us to extend our community outreach through our online exercise and mental health and technical programs to senior centers. The pilot program is in development at Los Alamos and White Rock Senior Centers. Villages is committed to helping our community by offering no-cost or low-cost online classes for seniors.
