Terry's Glass at O'Keeffe Museum
Terry Rothwell, when not helping Villages members, is a contemporary glass artist. His glass art captivates with its dance of light and color and is made for sculptural enjoyment and visual pleasure. The Georgia O’Keeffe Museum Store commissioned Terry to create glass home decor items using Georgia O'Keeffe's palettes. In his Farther series, the colors are motivated by O'Keeffe's The Beyond, 1972 and Blue II, 1958. Terry and his wife, Michelle, are founding members of Villages.
Terry's method of fused glass - Colorful art glass is hand-cut then assembled one piece at a time before being bonded (united) through high temperatures in a kiln. All materials are sourced in the US.
